Chiriqui Chatter is down – Oct 20

8:30 AM Oct 20, 2009. CC is down and from reviewing stats, it appears to have been up and down for the last several hours. The hosting company is also down, so I am unable to submit a trouble ticket.

UPDATE: 9:04 – CC is back up.

1:40 PM – The site is down and the webhost is down as well. Hopefully the host will be back soon.

UPDATE: 1:48 PM – It appears that they resolved their problem.

September 15, 2009 Chiriqui Chatter is down

At 10:42 AM today, I noticed that CC was down. When I went to submit a trouble ticket, I see that the host site is down too. I assume they are having a major outage.

UPDATE: I ran some errands and got back at 12:50 PM and it appears the site is up.

July 19, 2009 Chiriqui Chatter is down

9:30 PM, I noticed that the site was down. I have submitted a trouble ticket.

UPDATE: July 20 6:00 AM – The following message is on the Host’s Site when I went to check my trouble ticket..

Status at  17 July ,8:40 am EST : Server should be up by end of 20th July.

There was a severe data corruption on the server so we are restoring complete server from our backups.

There is nothing we can do to speed up the restore because of huge amount of data involved.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

UPDATE July 20 7:35 AM Chiriqui Chatter appears to be up.

June 29 1:35 PM – Just received a notice that the site is down. My host has said it us upgrading servers. It is obviously not transparent to users.

A trouble ticket has been submitted.

UPDATE: 1:45 – Back up. Good job host.

UPDATE: 1:49 Just received the following: This is a perfect example of how not to run a Web Host Company.

UPDATE: July 3. It has been several days and I received no further word from the web host as to what their concern was. Things are running fine now.

June 27 8:47 AM – CC is down

Chiriqui Chatter has been down for about 8 gors at this point. A trouble ticket has been submitted.

UPDATE: 11:59 AM. After a 13 hour outtage, it looks like it has finally come up.

June 26 – Chiriqui Chatter is down

A trouble ticket has been submitted. It appears that the site has been down since 11:00 AM.

UPDATE: 12:05 OM – It appears that CC is back up.

6:30 AM June 20. I see that the site has been down for about 6+ hours. A trouble ticket has been submitted. This is two days in a row.

UPDATE: 9:10 the site has come up. I will continue to monitor it.

6:40 AM June 19, 2009 – According to my monitor site Chiriqui Chatter has been down for the last 6 hours. A trouble ticket has been submitted.

UPDATE: 7:46 AM – The site has come up.

The site is down

At 7:00 AM I submitted a service ticket stating the site was down.

UPDATE: 8:15 AM it appears the site is coming up.

UPDATE: 9:30 AM – Received a call telling me the site was down again. I have submitted another trouble ticket.
