Chiriqui Chatter is down

June 29 1:35 PM – Just received a notice that the site is down. My host has said it us upgrading servers. It is obviously not transparent to users.

A trouble ticket has been submitted.

UPDATE: 1:45 – Back up. Good job host.

UPDATE: July 3. It has been several days and I received no further word from the web host as to what their concern was. Things are running fine now.

June 27 8:47 AM – CC is down

Chiriqui Chatter has been down for about 8 gors at this point. A trouble ticket has been submitted.

UPDATE: 11:59 AM. After a 13 hour outtage, it looks like it has finally come up.

June 26 – Chiriqui Chatter is down

A trouble ticket has been submitted. It appears that the site has been down since 11:00 AM.

UPDATE: 12:05 OM – It appears that CC is back up.

6:30 AM June 20. I see that the site has been down for about 6+ hours. A trouble ticket has been submitted. This is two days in a row.

UPDATE: 9:10 the site has come up. I will continue to monitor it.

6:40 AM June 19, 2009 – According to my monitor site Chiriqui Chatter has been down for the last 6 hours. A trouble ticket has been submitted.

UPDATE: 7:46 AM – The site has come up.

The site is down

At 7:00 AM I submitted a service ticket stating the site was down.

UPDATE: 8:15 AM it appears the site is coming up.

UPDATE: 9:30 AM – Received a call telling me the site was down again. I have submitted another trouble ticket.

UPDATE: 10AM All is well again

6:00 PM Chiriqui Chatter is not responding. A trouble ticket has been sent.

UPDATE: 6:30 PM it looks like CC is back up.

UPDATE: 9:30 PM. Don’t know when , but CC is down again. Again, a trouble ticket has been submitted.

UPDATE: May 17, 2009 7:50 AM. Site still down. Sorry for the outtage. No word from Webhost. Ticket says “in progress”.

UPDATE: 11:20 AM The site is currently up. Lets hope it stays that way.

Chiriqui Chatter Is Not Responding

Chiriqui Chatter was up when I got up, but I just checked it at 8:30 AM and it was not responding. I have submitted a trouble ticket.

UPDATE:It is 8:52 and the site appears to be back up.

UPDATE: 9:00 The site still has problems. It appears that the webhost has set their clock wrong and posts have disappeared.

UPDATE: 9:30 The webhost has set their clock to UTC and everything is back up.

Chiriqui Chatter Not Responding

Chiriqui Chatter is not responding. I submitted a trouble ticket to the web host around 6:15 AM.

UPDATE: It is 7:05 AM and Chiriqui Chatter is back on the air.

WordPress Error

2:00 PM – Chiriqui Chatter has some sort of problem. It is listed as a WordPress database error. At the present, I don’t understand the problem. I have submitted a trouble ticket and am awaiting a response from my web host. By all indications, it does not appear to have been a hacker, but until I understand the problem, you will see garbage on your screen.

The error is as follows: WordPress database error: [Got error 28 from storage engine]

From what I can see this is an SQL error potentially caused by being out of space.

7:30 AM February 22. I received a couple emails that the Bad Behavior plug-in was causing problems and I have disabled it. That seemed to remove part of the problem and WP is not generating the garbage in front of each post. The Link tab is not working, which must be a different problem.  Also the Coppermine photo album isn’t working so that data base is hosed as well. I have not heard back from my web host.

9:10 AM February 22. I was able to repair the Coppermine Photo Album using PHPMyAdmin and the repair option. Wish it would solve the WP problem, but it won’t.

9:20 AM February 22. I tried phpmyadmin one more time on the WP DB and it took. I don’t understand it, but all appears to be up and running.
